Measurement Protocol

Precision Glass Pet Doors

Before we custom-cut your new factory-toughened glass panel, we require accurate dimensions of your existing door frame and pet. Follow our three-step measurement protocol below.

Step 01: Frame Width

Step 02: Glass Thickness

Step 03: Pet Height

Measure from the floor to your pet's shoulder. This ensures we position the opening at the optimal height for comfortable passage.

Measure the visible glass width from the inside edge of the rubber seal to the opposite side. Record this value in millimeters.

Identify if your panel is single or double-glazed. Most modern sliding doors use standard twenty-four millimeter insulated sealed units.

Installation FAQ

Can existing glass be cut?

Are pet doors secure?

No. Tempered glass shatters if cut. We manufacture a brand-new, factory-toughened panel with the pet door pre-installed, then swap your existing glass.

Every pet door we install features a robust, multi-point locking security cover. Your sliding door's existing locks and structural integrity remain completely unaffected.

Is double-glazing structurally safe?

What is the timeline?

Our certified glaziers use hermetically sealed spacer bars around the pet door cutout, fully preserving the thermal efficiency and insulation of your double-glazed unit.

The initial measurement takes fifteen minutes. Your custom panel is manufactured in seven days, and the final on-site installation is completed in under one hour.
